Job Overview:
As a Content Writer you will own the words across our clients' websites, blogs, campaigns and social channels. You will take a brief from strategy, find the angle nobody else has used, and write copy that reads like a person wrote it. You will also set the tone of voice that the rest of the team writes to.
Key Responsibilities:
- Write, edit and proofread content across blogs, website copy, email campaigns, ad copy and social media posts.
- Research industry-specific topics so the content is informative, accurate and SEO-friendly.
- Define and defend tone of voice for the brands you are assigned to.
- Collaborate with the design, performance and strategy teams so copy and creative arrive as one idea.
- Build content calendars and deliver against them consistently.
- Track content performance and rewrite what is not working.
- Brief and review the work of junior writers and interns.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, Journalism or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in content writing, with a portfolio showing range across formats.
- Strong understanding of SEO best practices and digital content trends.
- Excellent written communication skills, with a keen eye for detail and grammar.
- Ability to write in several brand voices and switch between them cleanly.
- Comfort with content management systems and a basic knowledge of HTML.
