Job Overview:
As a Photographer Intern you will assist on live shoots from your first month — setting up lights, managing kit, shooting your own frames alongside the lead, and learning how a commercial set actually runs. You will leave with a portfolio of published work rather than practice files.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the lead photographer on location and in studio, from setup through pack-down.
- Set up and maintain lighting, grip, backdrops and camera kit.
- Shoot assigned frames and supporting coverage under direction.
- Cull and perform first-pass edits in Lightroom and Photoshop.
- Organise, back up and label shoot files so nothing is lost.
- Contribute ideas in pre-production and bring references to the table.
Required Qualifications:
- Pursuing or holding a degree or diploma in Photography, Visual Arts or a related field.
- A portfolio of personal or college work that shows a point of view.
- Working knowledge of a DSLR or mirrorless camera in manual mode.
- Familiarity with Lightroom and Photoshop.
- Willingness to carry kit, stay late on a shoot day and take direction.
